Family History:

Hana was born into an extremely rich family which resided in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Both her parents worked at the nearby Imperial Hotel, her mother (Harue) as the head receptionist and her father (Ritsuo) as the executive chef. However, when Hana was only 4 years old her father discovered that Harue was having an affair with one of the part-time waiters. Their life sprialed into chaos, although Hana was too young to remember it. Ritsuo believed they could still make things work between himself and Harue, but suggested that it would be easier if they started afresh and left the hotel that their lives revolved around. Harue, frightened of losing her substantially paid husband, agreed.

They moved to Odaiba just weeks after the happenings in Chiyoda. They struggled on, trying to continue as normal as possible, however only Ritsuo was able to find a job. Harue agreed to stay at home for the meantime as a housewife. Hana was studying hard in school, and her future looked bright.

Their second try at a peaceful and normal existence shattered to pieces when Hana came home from school to find her mother gone. It was as if she never existed, all her clothes, jewellery, personal belongings...gone. All that was left was a note from her mother, sitting on the dining table, 'I couldnt take it anymore'.

Hana's life spiralled out of control. Having her mother leave her life at only 8 years old affected her terribly. Her grades slipped...and her weight swelled uncontrollably. As a result of gaining so much weight Hana often experienced heart troubles, especially when she felt out of breath or was feeling emotional.

Ritsuo's depression as a result of Harue's departure held him back from giving Hana the fatherly support she needed.

Appearance:

Hana is a large girl, but isnt afraid to flaunt it. Her posture is often bent over, due to her weight, and sometimes looks more like a stooped old woman than a young teenager. She has long, dark and thick unmanaged hair, which she often puts into pigtails or a simple ponytail. Her face is round and chubby, and she usually smothers her skin in make-up which often looks hideously overdone. She has dark brown eyes, with thin arched eyebrows above. Sadly, Hana thinks she is god's gift to men and the envy of all the other schoolgirls, however she is quite the opposite and is often at the receiving end of the other schoolkid's jibes and jokes.

Personality

Hana can be quite a bully, often picking on people who she feels are worse looking than herself (bearing in mind that Hana thinks she is breathtakingly beautiful). Most of the time she is quiet, but sometimes she can snap at people, and often unexpectedly, which makes people feel on edge around her. Another negative to Hana's personality is that she always believes she is right, no matter what people say, and she is very headstrong and determined to have her own way. A good quality of Hana's is that she is brimming with confidence, and can usually do anything she is asked, no matter how challenging, without hesitation. Hana is also extremely spontaneous, and does things without much thought, this sometimes works to her advantage...and sometimes it doesnt. Hana can also be quite funny...she doesnt mean to be, she just seems to make people laugh. Sometimes it may be as a result of something she has said but mostly it is a result of her actions.

Overnight Bag:

Hana didnt put much thought into her overnight bag, stuffing the first things she could find in her room into her bag. Inside she has the Spring/Summer 2009 Victorias Secret catalogue (which contains lingerie she can only dream of pulling off, yet sadly she wears half their range...), a tupperware box containing 6 fairy cakes smothered with chocolate icing and sprinkles, a dual vibrator, a small make-up bag, 2 boxes of meltykiss chocolates, her purse with all her cards and ID but no money, a change of clothes, toiletries, a crinkled passport-sized photo of Ken'ichi Matsuyama.

Extra-Curricular Activities:

Hana used to be involved with the after school cookery class, which she was forced into by her father because he couldnt get off work in time for Hana coming home from school. However as soon as she was old enough to be at home by herself she dropped out, and refuses to join anything else that requires her using her brain or energy.

Classroom Behaviour:

Hana goes from one extreme to the other, she is sometimes quiet but has an erratic behaviour and has caused many classroom fights in the past due to her harsh comments to other students and general piss-taking. Her teachers are tired of her wavering behaviour but are often too frightened themselves to make comments incase they too are at the receiving end of her bad temper. Her grades are very low and she has hardly any hope of passing assignments or exams.

Friends and Enemies:

Akemi Kasai - Hana and Akemi have a strange relationship, they understand each other yet often fight due to Akemi being bluntly honest about Hana. Although it may not seem like it, Hana takes Akemi's comments on board. They are often seen hanging around together in school.

Taro Hanazawa - One time when Taro was drunk Hana jerked him off. They had an argument about it after Taro heard Hana gossiping to others about in class, all smug with herself. She has a crush on him...but sadly Taro doesnt fancy her back...because shes fat and a bitch. Despite this they do still speak sometimes, but mostly only when they have to.
